Hi guys! Welcome to my blog!

My name is Tatty and I am a solo female traveler who has been travelling since 2018 by herself. I discovered solo travelling by accident. I was watching videos on youtube about other girls who had done it alone and I felt a sudden push towards going myself, which was so out of character for me at the time. I was scared of the world, I was scared of flying and planes (i still am a bit) but nonetheless the voice in my head won and I booked a ticket to Malaysia for 3 weeks. That trip changed my whole life and my outlook on it. I learnt that the world isn't as scary as people make it out to be, that there is kindness everywhere. That trip changed my outlook forever, I could never go back to normal life after it. So what followed was a desire to keep exploring the world, on my own! Since Malaysia I have now gone to a total of 18 other places by my self, and there is still so much left to explore! Now in 2024 after battling with the demons in my head to keep my corporate job and just do little trips, that i'm too old too travel, I finally listened to that little travel bug and I've just spent the last year on a working holiday in Australia saving up my pennies to do the biggest trip of my life so far, 6 months in India! Which is where I currently am right now.

I hope that we can explore the world together and hopefully I can share some of my wisdom of the last 6 years with you. My aim with this blog is to inspire more women to go out there on their own, offering them tips, tricks, advice and a bit of inspiration.
